But what I've learned through my 13 years in this field is that healing and growth are not just possible; they are attainable, and you're already on your way. With every client I've had the privilege of witnessing incredible transformations and the resilience of the human spirit.

Anxiety and trauma may be parts of your story, but they don't define you. They are chapters in your life that can lead to growth and resilience. 

For the past 20 years, I've been on a personal journey in this field. I've worked with people of all ages, from newborns to seniors, each dealing with the weight of trauma. In addition to my professional work, I've volunteered at a Guatemalan orphanage, supported low-income families with young children, and offered companionship to the elderly in nursing homes. I've also reached out to troubled youth in juvenile halls, foster children, and those with special needs. For me, this is not just a job; it's a calling, a profound purpose- to spread authentic hope in a relatable and heartfelt way.

I excel in my work with adults aged 24-54, as this age range often encounters significant life changes that unearth unresolved trauma, giving rise to tendencies such as people-pleasing and perfectionism. My expertise is tailored to address and navigate these challenges effectively.

What population do you do your best work with?

I work with individuals who people-please and grapple with perfectionism—those are my people. I love assisting burnt-out and overwhelmed women in making essential shifts in their lives, fostering empowerment, confidence, and liberation. Witnessing the transformation as women build trust in themselves and identify their compassionate voice is truly fulfilling.

I follow a client-centered approach, meaning I customize techniques and draw from various modalities specifically for YOU. My approach isn't one-size-fits-all, as I recognize that not everyone aligns with a single treatment method. Your unique needs guide my tailored approach.

what treatment approaches do you use?

I find joy in rising an hour earlier, before my toddler wakes up, to carve out some dedicated "me time." This ritual encompasses exercise, a devotional, savoring a warm cup of coffee, and perhaps tackling a small household chore. In the evenings, I unwind with a favorite reality show followed by delving into a good book. For me, self-care is all about balance, not perfection.

what do you enjoy doing for self-care?

I've faced my fair share of trauma, anxiety, and even dipped into depression. It's tough when you feel isolated and misunderstood. But in those moments of helplessness and hopelessness, I want you to know that overcoming them is possible. Witnessing someone leave a session feeling relieved, hopeful, and excited for the future brings me immense joy. You are my motivation.

what drives your passion?

I'm not your average therapist. I don't just sit and nod, leaving you vulnerable without active support through your challenges. My goal is to guide you in learning, coping, and healing during every session. Your progress is my source of passion. I'm also here to be relatable, ensuring you feel seen and heard without judgment.
